Per Skovgaard.  Born  

He started his career in 1992 with studies of art, and painting, and has been painting on-going for the past 20 years.

Per painted his first figure, which was graphic DNA taken and fused together into one person built on his parents and himself.
Later, he examined the art of mixing media as part of his intuitive language and development.
He began with work with photography and studies in light and shadow, as well as topics such as  DNA,-
and the mental layers, consciously as  seen from the inside and outside.

The study of the simple and complex aspect of man and mind, seen through the light and shadow.
Per has worked with installations and nature, and has created a series of laser sculptures as an integral part of nature.
Later in his course he has examined the field between the private/public space, and has developed part of his art

in public spaces,- with, among other things, the exhibition "123Transformer" at Christiania, which is a (work in progress) exhibition with painting ,chalk, video , and other mixed media.
 

 

“For the past 20 years, Per Skovgaard have worked as a professional artist based in Copenhagen.
He have worked international collaborations , among other thing . New York and China, as well as of life's back roads to

artistic production with, among other things, Bjørn Nørgaard, Tor Nørretranders, exhibitions at: theaters, Illums store
storefronts, larger sculptural solo exhibition in DR  foyer in Copenhagen.
Worked as artdirector and photographer for international monthly magazine, Head of Art Workshop for
children. Co creator of “These Shapes Are Made For Dancing” in collaboration with
Steen Koerner Studio , that were exhibited at Kunsten
iAalborg.
 

 

Per exhibited his  light sculpture in China  ( D E Z A C T)  Hyper Perception Media Art , and have collaborated with
Restaurant NOMA / Per Skovgaard | @123transformer collaboration with @teamsilent (director of
fermentation at Noma)  This inquiry was based on Per's  Street-Art art and concept.
Exhibit in process in the public space at Christiania, where he paints his pictures with brush,-

and draws on the asphalt with chalk, in his mixed media expression.
